Common Questions and Answers

What are your fees and do you take insurance?

We do not currently work with any insurance, however, we can provide a superbill which may/may not be reimbursed by your insurance company. We require upfront payment regardless and are not responsible for your insurance’s decision.

Here are some other forms of payment we accept:

  • We can also accept Health Savings/Flex Spending Accounts for payment if you have this through your insurance company.

  • We are vendors through the state of Pennsylvania to provide therapy services through Victim’s Compensation. If you have been a victim of sexual assault/abuse (with or without a police report) or another crime (with a police report) we can accept payment through VCAP and that is arranged through our practice. Ask for more info.

We provide a sliding scale fee.

The rate to work with Kyra, our supervising therapist is $145/hr. Kyra has limited availability for sliding scale spots as low as $100/hr.

The rate to work with Addie, our associate therapist is $85/hr. Addie has limited availability for sliding scale spots as low as $60/hr.

The sliding scale is for private pay clients only and is unable to apply to clients seeking insurance reimbursement, Victim’s Compensation, or paying with HSA/FSA cards.

How can I get started with Therapy?

To schedule a therapy appointment, you can click here to request a free 15-minute consultation with the therapist of your choice. You can also set this up by e-mailing info@rowantherapycollective.com

You can also email us individually with questions at Kyra@Rowantherapycollective.com or Addie@Rowantherapycollective.com.

You should hear an appointment confirmation no later than two business days.

What can I expect during the first appointment?

During the first appointment, your therapist will discuss confidentiality, and cost estimates and run through your intake paperwork. We want to hear about what your past experiences with therapy have been like (if you have been before) and what you hope to accomplish in therapy now. In future counseling sessions, we will identify treatment goals and begin working on accomplishing them.

Can your organization prescribe medications?

No, we are not able to provide medical advice or prescriptions for psychiatric medications but we are more than willing to assist clients with finding a medical provider that works with their location, budget, and needs.
